Chapter 01
It's 11pm and the phone's ringing
The job you lost while you were busy doing the last one.
Chapter 01
It's 11pm and the phone's ringing
The job you lost while you were busy doing the last one.
You are under a sink, up a ladder or halfway through a switchboard, and the phone goes. You cannot get to it. By the time you can, they have rung the next business on the list and booked someone else.
That is the job you never knew you lost. It does not show up anywhere. There is no missed-call report that says 'this one was worth a Saturday'.
What follows is what actually happens when an AI employee picks that call up instead — start to finish, no sales talk.
Chapter 02
Every call answered, every lead captured
Picks up in under two seconds, on every line at once, and saves the lead before it does anything clever.
Chapter 02
Every call answered, every lead captured
Picks up in under two seconds, on every line at once, and saves the lead before it does anything clever.
Every call is answered in under two seconds. Day or night, weekends, public holidays. It does not matter whether you are on the tools, asleep, or already on another call.
If six people ring at once, all six get answered at the same time. There is no 'all our operators are busy', because it is not one person sitting on one line.
The first thing it does is save the lead — in under half a second, before it tries anything clever. That matters: even if the conversation goes sideways, you still have the person's details and the fact that they called.
And it is not a phone menu. Nobody presses one for accounts. It is an AI employee — one of them, that you hire and name yourself.
The same list catches everything else too: your contact form, text messages, a directory job email, an enquiry sitting in your inbox. One list, not five places to look.
Chapter 03
It only answers from your own information
It reads your website and your documents, and it refuses to guess a price it does not know.
Chapter 03
It only answers from your own information
It reads your website and your documents, and it refuses to guess a price it does not know.
It reads your website and any documents you give it — your services, your hours, your areas, your price list. It answers from that. Only that. Not from the internet, and not from what it reckons a business like yours probably charges.
So when someone asks what a call-out costs, or whether you come out that far, they get your answer, not a plausible-sounding one.
What it will not do
- When it does not know, it says so out loud: it will not guess, and it books a callback so one of your people can give a real answer instead.
- That is the whole reason you can leave it on the phone unsupervised. The dangerous version is not the one that admits it does not know — it is the one that invents a price and leaves you with a customer holding you to it.
Chapter 04
It hears what they actually want, and books it
Emergency or price shopper, it can tell — then offers two real slots from one shared diary.
Chapter 04
It hears what they actually want, and books it
Emergency or price shopper, it can tell — then offers two real slots from one shared diary.
It works out what kind of call this is. Someone with water coming through the ceiling gets treated differently from someone ringing round for the cheapest quote — and it can tell the difference from how they talk about the job.
Then it offers two real times out of your actual diary. Not a maybe, not 'someone will call you back to arrange it'. Two slots that are genuinely free.
It asks for an email because the calendar invite has to go somewhere, and it says exactly that rather than harvesting the address for no stated reason. The invite comes from your business, from your own email address, with reschedule and cancel links that work.
That is the same diary your booking page and your text messages are looking at. One set of availability, so it cannot double book you.
Chapter 05
The missed call that texts back
A call slips through, a text lands in seconds, and the same brain books the job over SMS.
Chapter 05
The missed call that texts back
A call slips through, a text lands in seconds, and the same brain books the job over SMS.
If a call ever does slip through, the caller gets a text within seconds — a real reply, not a canned 'we missed you'. It picks up the conversation where the phone left off, and it can book the job over text just as well as over the phone.
That first text is a reply, because they rang you first. It still carries the opt-out, and it still respects the do-not-contact list.
What it will not do
- Text STOP and they are off instantly and permanently. Nothing goes to that number again — not from you, and not from anyone else on the platform.
Chapter 06
Knows who is hot, and which channel to use
Scores every lead as they behave, then follows up on the channel they actually answer.
Chapter 06
Knows who is hot, and which channel to use
Scores every lead as they behave, then follows up on the channel they actually answer.
Every lead gets a score, and the score moves as they behave. Someone who replies twice and asks about timing is not the same as someone who filled in a form and went quiet.
Then it follows up on the channel that person actually answers — text, or email — and it keeps the polite day-three and day-seven follow-up going. That follow-up you never get around to is usually the difference between a quote and a job.
What it will not do
- It keeps proper hours. Not ten o'clock at night — Australian hours, and it knows the public holidays. It will not message someone at a time that makes you look like a pest.
- It stops the second they reply, book, or opt out.
- It will not cold-call on your behalf. If someone genuinely needs a phone call, it puts them at the top of your callback list rather than dialling them itself.
- Marketing consent is asked for separately, and it never blocks anyone from filling in your form or booking a job. Say no, and you still get your booking.
Chapter 07
Quote, invoice, paid, into your account
Drafts the quote in your pricing, the customer accepts on a link, and the money goes straight to you.
Chapter 07
Quote, invoice, paid, into your account
Drafts the quote in your pricing, the customer accepts on a link, and the money goes straight to you.
Once a job has been scoped, it drafts the quote. Off your own price list, in your pricing, worded the way you would word it.
The customer gets a link. They open it on their phone — no login, no account, no password to forget — read it, and hit accept.
The accepted quote becomes the invoice. Same numbers, your own numbering, and a link to pay.
The money goes to you. Straight into your own payment account. It never touches us at any point — we are not sitting in the middle taking a clip, we just move the paperwork.
And the quotes nobody ever answers get chased like any other lead: day three, day seven, until they say yes, no, or stop. For most trades businesses, quotes sent and never followed up is the single biggest hole.
What it will not do
- A quote never goes out in your name without you tapping approve. That is deliberate, and it does not change.
Chapter 08
A text at 6:30 and a Monday summary
What happened overnight, in one short text — and a weekly wrap that stays quiet on a quiet week.
Chapter 08
A text at 6:30 and a Monday summary
What happened overnight, in one short text — and a weekly wrap that stays quiet on a quiet week.
At half six in the morning you get a text. What came in overnight, what is booked today, and which ones are worth ringing first. It is short, and it does not pad itself out to look busy.
On Monday you get the week: what came in, what got booked, and how that compares to the week before.
What it will not do
- On a genuinely quiet week it does not send. It stays quiet rather than emailing you a page of zeroes — the fastest way to get someone to ignore a report is to send them a pointless one.
Chapter 09
One screen, and who this is actually for
The dashboard in plain English — then the honest answer on who should not buy this.
Chapter 09
One screen, and who this is actually for
The dashboard in plain English — then the honest answer on who should not buy this.
There is one screen, and it is in English. New lead captured. Job booked. Hot lead. A list of what happened, not a wall of graphs.
You name your AI employee, you pick which jobs they do, and you can pause any of it. Setup takes about forty-eight hours. It never sleeps, and it never gets sick of the phone.
What it will not do
- This is for someone running a trades business who is on the tools all day and cannot get to the phone. That is it. If you have someone on reception who never misses a call, you do not need this.
Ready when you are
